Barriers and retention basins against natural hazards in mountain areas
Changing precipitation, especially during extreme events, will lead to an increasing risk of natural hazards: like flash floods, mudslides, etc. The installation of additional protective structural infrastructures can reduce these risks, e.g. by additional barriers, retention basins.
